The teenage years today present unique challenges, with young people facing pressures and questions that no previous generation has encountered in quite the same way. At OLOL Maronite Flame Teens, our mission is to accompany young people in this critical stage of life by helping them build a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep understanding of the teachings of the Maronite Catholic Church, inspired by the example of our Blessed Mother Mary. Through this foundation, we aim to equip teens to stand firm in their faith and be joyful witnesses of Christ in their families, schools, and communities.
OLOL Maronite Flame Teens is a vibrant ministry grounded in faith, fellowship, and formation, and is a branch of the Marian Family Sodality. Each year, we welcome hundreds of teens who come together to grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and encounter God in a meaningful way. The ministry offers regular catechetical classes and formation opportunities that deepen understanding of the faith while fostering peer support among young people who share similar values.
Beyond formation, we provide a wide range of spiritual, social, and community experiences designed to bring faith to life. These include teens camps, road trips, and social gatherings such as our annual mid-year and Christmas parties.
One of the most profound experiences is our annual Teens Camp, a fruitful and transformative event where prayer, talks, activities, and spiritual bonding strengthen the teens faith and deepen relationships with God and one another. Moments of silence and Eucharistic Adoration are especially significant, offering teens the chance to step away from daily distractions and enter into a deep encounter with God. Camp also builds strong friendships through games and challenges, including the Amazing Race, where teams grow in unity, friendship, and joy as they compete for the Ghadi Nakhoul Shield, in honour of our beloved late Coordinator, who entered into eternal life in 2024.
The ministry is supported by a dedicated team of leaders who faithfully serve the teens throughout the year with commitment to prayer, formation, and service so that they may accompany the teens with authenticity and care. Their role is not only to guide but to witness to the joy of living a life rooted in Christ.
OLOL Maronite Flame Teens continues to inspire young people to grow in faith, friendship, and discipleship, forming a generation of confident Catholic teens who love God, live their faith boldly, and serve others with compassion and joy.
