The Seniors’ Committee has been active in the parish since 2012. It provides essential spiritual and social services for the elderly in our community, helping them avoid living in routine or isolation.

The number of the elderly who are participating in our activities have grown over the years, from around twenty people in the beginning, to more than a hundred people now.

The Committee helps the elderly to remain in touch with each other, living their faith and have fun. Gatherings are held once a fortnight. They begin with the Mass, followed by entertainment and lunch. More than thirty regular volunteers assist the elderly to participate in these activities.

In addition, the Committee organises annual functions for the elderly, including lunches on Christmas, Easter, Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day. These events are celebrated with a festive spirit in the parish hall, drawing a crowed of around 200 people.
